On December 4, 2019, SIGAS was invited to participate in the industry-university-research cooperation matchmaking meeting of "The Northeast University of Technology Alliance" sponsored by Suzhou Talent Office and Suzhou Science Technology Bureau. Li Mao, Sales Director of SIGAS, and Professor Zhang Qi, Academy of Metallurgy, Northeastern University, signed an industry-university-research cooperation agreement on "Gas Dynamic Prediction Multi-medium Coupling Optimization Technology."
The Academy of Metallurgy of Northeastern University is a first-class university in China integrating modern industrial science and traditional industrial science such as metallurgy, thermal engineering, and environmental science.
As a professional gas analysis company in China, SIGAS will work together with the Academy of Metallurgy of Northeastern University to develop intelligent gas management and optimized distribution system to improve gas utilization and achieve energy saving and emission reduction.
Gas dynamic prediction and multi-media coupling optimization technology belong to the leading domestic technology, used in the process of steel production of gas generation, transportation, storage, optimization distribution and use of links, the technology in improving the accuracy of gas prediction, bring significant economic benefits for the enterprise at the same time, can also reduce CO₂ emissions. For example, the annual steel production of 10 million tons of enterprises, the application of the technology can reduce the gas emission rate of 1%~2%, save standard coal up to 3~ 50,000 tons, CO₂ reduce emissions of about 100,000 tons.
